About the Development

Community website for the Hanwell View/Cherry Fields housing development in Banbury

The Hanwell View development is being constructed by Bellway Homes, while the adjoining Cherry Fields development is being undertaken by Ashberry Homes.  Building commenced in late 2015 and is expected to be completed mid 2020. 

As well as extensive open spaces and play areas, it incorporates a £5 million acoustic bund to east side of the development.  The centrepiece of the development is the Oak Horse designed and built by Philip Bews and Diane Gorvin.

Bellway Homes

Bellway Homes is one of the largest property developers in UK and has been in existence for over seventy years.  Based in Newcastle and building in all parts of Great Britain, they are on track to build 10,000 in 2018.

Ashberry Homes

A relative newcomer to the house building sector, Ashberry Homes are a subdivision of Bellway Homes and was incorporated in 2009.

 

Location & Layout

Located on the A423 Southam Road on the northern outskirts of Banbury, the Hanwell View and Cherry Fields developments are easily found. From the town centre follow signs for Southam A423. As you reach the outskirts of Banbury you'll approach the Banbury Crematorium, and there are multple entrances on the right hand side as you climb the hill.
